This means when doing an oil change, you can get your hands dirty draining the old oil, then swap to a new set of clean gloves when adding the new. It stops putting dirty oily fingerprints over a nice new oil filter or oil bottle. No need to wash your hands!
The Black Rocket gloves are a trade quality glove which makes them strong and durable. They also have a high puncture resistance. You need this when working on cars as there is always something to scratch or hit your hand on, so some protection is better than none.
