Omega Bumper Prime - Ideal for preparing plastic bumpers prior to painting
Omega Bumper Prime is a high-tech formulation with specialised flex aids and adhesion promoters to allow the paint to mimic the original structure of the bumper without cracking and flaking like other primers. Omega Bumper Primer is a black, rapid-drying, easy-sanding, flexible primer designed for priming rigid plastics such as automotive bumpers. Omega Bumper Primer is suitable to use on a range of plastics including polypropylene, polyethylene, ABS, PMMA, PVC, polyurethane, polycarbonate and polyester. This paint primer is ideal for priming full component re-sprays and filling over repaired areas and minor surface imperfections. It is suitable for both single and two pack paint systems.
Exclusive to Repco, Omega’s range of Panel and Repair products are manufactured in Australia using quality formulations that have been developed to ensure you get the job done right, first time every time. With products suited to DIY enthusiasts working on their own projects, the Omega range caters to everything from minor paint or bodywork correction to major nut and bolt restoration projects. Gathering the products you need to complete each panel or repair job on your car is made simple with Omega's unique 4-step process.
- Step 1 - Prepare - The first step covers everything you need to ensure that the panel surface is clean and free of flaking paint and other contaminants.
- Step 2 - Repair - These products are everything you need to replace what’s missing and assure a flat and perfectly shaped repair job. These products include body fillers, fibreglass products and more.
- Step 3 - Finish - An assortment of finishing products including paint and other top coats.
- Step 4 - Protect - Ensures protection for all your hard work perfecting the panel. These products protect the panel from adverse weather, UV rays and surface contaminants.
When getting to work on your projects, repairing damaged body work, rusted metal, fibreglass repairs or finishing, painting and protecting your car, bike boat, truck or whatever you choose to work on, it's important to make sure you're kitted out with the necessary safety gear such as gloves and protective eyewear as paint and panel repair products can not only be messy, but contact should also be avoided with skin, face and eyes. We also recommend getting set up with some quality workshop lighting to ensure that your project is well lit to ensure the best results and the smoothest possible panel just like when it was brand new.
