Bosch Brake Fluid DOT 3
Bosch brake fluid DOT 3 is suitable for all hydraulic braking and hydraulic clutch systems. Brake reliability and consistency is key as roads these days are getting busier and cars and going faster. Bosch brake fluids are designed for all types of braking systems and provide high performance even when conditions become hard. The fluid has to take high temperatures, resist water absorption and prevent corrosion in the braking system. It needs to lubricate the seals and moving parts and ideally have a long service life.
Brake fluid is such an important part of the vehicle that levels should be checked regularly and it should be replaced when required. It is a false economy not to do this. Always use the recommended DOT level fluid when servicing or topping up.
For DOT 3:
- Mostly used for older vehicles
- Fulfills the Standards: FMVSS §571.116 DOT 3, SAE J1703 & ISO 4925 Class 3
- Do not mix with other Standard Brake Fluids like DOT 4
