With a built-in MPPT (maximum power point tracking) solar regulator, this DC to DC battery charger can supply charge via both the alternator and solar panels simultaneously without the need for an additional solar controller, keeping clutter to a minimum and keeping your 12V set-up clean and concise. Using Redarc's Green Power Priority, this dual battery charger will prioritise solar charging to minimise load on the alternator as you drive. The secondary deep cycle battery powers all your accessories such as fridges, lights & entertainment.

The Redarc BCDC1250D is compatible with 12 and 24 volt vehicle systems and will work with either standard or variable voltage, 'Smart' alternators in modern vehicles. With the same charging profiles as its predecessor plus the addition of a lithium charging mode, the BCDC1250D is suitable for charging AGM, gel, lead acid, calcium and LiFePO4 batteries.

This battery charger is recommended for battery bank sizes over 200AH which makes it suitable for a whole range of set-ups and applications. The unit dimensions are 120mm wide x 37mm high x 165mm long and weighs 1kg.
