Choosing the Right Coolant
With a whole range of radiator coolant to suit various different vehicles and engine types, it can often be difficult to choose a coolant for your cooling system. What colour? What type? What brand? Concentrate or premix? The simple rule of thumb is to match the colour of coolant that came out of the car, however to be sure we suggest using the Repco Rego Search. Rego search allows you to choose your exact vehicle and we then give you the correct suggestion of coolant to best suit your car.
There will still be the option or premix coolant and concentrate. if your're only looking to top up your coolant then a Premix 1L is perfect, if you find your cooling system needs topping up regularly or you're doing a full cooling system flush and refill then we suggest grabbing a 5L concentrate. for best results we suggest using demineralised water, This type of water is low in salt content and provides low conductivity which prevents oxidisation and wear of rubber coolant hoses and components.
Penrite is a great option when it comes time to give your car some attention.
