If you've got yellowed headlights that are making your car look like it's on its last legs, then performing a quick lens cleaning is going to be one of the best ways to revitalise your car.

Cleaning your headlights isn't just for good looks either, it's an important part of making sure your vehicle is safe to drive at night, as yellowed lenses and encrusted dirt can reduce the amount of light your headlights produce.?

Using a Turtle Wax Headlight Lens Restorer is quick and simple, with everything supplied in the box for the perfect clean.

Step By Step for Cleaning Your Headlights

1
Starting with a clean headlight, mask around the outside to protect the paint while polishing.
2
Using firm pressure, use a cotton cloth to apply the lens clarifying compound.
3
If the lens hasn't turned fully clear, you'll want to use the polishing pads to clean it up more.
4
Work your way through the 4 different sides of the polishing pads using the spray lubricant as necessary to keep the pad and lens wet.
5
Once done, dry with a cotton towel.
6
Apply the lens clarifying compound and rub thoroughly until the lens turns clear.
7
Let the compound dry to a haze then buff with a cotton cloth.
8
Once both headlights are done, open the pouch containing the lens base coat wipe.
9
Using the plastic glove included in the kit, quickly coat both lenses with the wipe.
10
Once dry, immediately follow with the lens sealing wipe.
11
Admire your good-as-new headlights!
