Features
- Steering rack boots are protective rubber covers which seal each end of the steering rack while still allowing movement when steering.
- They seal out dirt and water and protect seal components at either end of the rack and pinion assembly. If the boot becomes damaged and tears, foreign contaminants will be allowed access and may cause accelerated wear and tear of other rack components.
- Replacing the boots at first signs of wear can help prevent more expensive steering repairs further down the track.
