Lift Kits for 4 Wheel Drives
Lift kits are designed for the serious 4 wheel drive enthusiasts that take their vehicles off the beaten track. I am not talking about your normal graded dirt road, I am talking your fire trail or open cross country where a road may be a set of wheel tracks, a cleared path or you make your own.
When in these environments you need more ground clearance than the factory suspension set up provides. Our range of lift kits are vehicle specific and we have a range of lift sizes from 25 to 50mm.

How high can I lift my 4 wheel drive?
This will vary from vehicle to vehicle as it depends on the suspension and what will hit or foul when it is raised. You can work it out yourself though this is very labour intensive and time consuming. Lift kits are a clever solution as someone has already checked all this before you buy the kit. It will raise your vehicle by the amount they published and all the pieces should be there including any suspension/steering adjustments if required.
How much does it cost to buy a Lift Kit?
This is a hard one to answer as it depends on how high you want to lift your vehicle. Pricing can be anywhere from $500 to $4,500 depending on vehicle and changes required. To get it done professionally just double it as a general rule of thumb. Once you go above 40 or 50mm it will get more expensive as steering, driveshaft & tailshaft angles start to get compromised.
How long do Lift Kits take to install?
Depends on how high and vehicle type. A professional may take a couple of days where a good do it yourselfer may take twice as long. When DIYing, it is a good idea to do your homework on the kit you are installing beforehand. Additional's like will I need to get a professional wheel alignment, is it all bolt up or is there any welding required, are the instructions easy to read or follow and tools you may require are all things you need to weigh up. Sometimes when you factor it all in, it is easier to get the expert to do it.
